Vienna-Alsergrund, Trinitarian Church (popular name "Alserkirche"). - The funeral service for the composer was held in this church situated on Alser Street, on 29 March 1827. After the blessing, Beethoven's body was transferred to the Währing local cemetery. The musical quotation is taken from the second movement of Symphony No. 3 (op. 55) "Eroica", the funeral march "Marcia Funebre".
