Eisenstadt, Haydnhaus. - The composer acquired the house, the courtyard of which is shown here, in 1766 and lived in it together with his wife Maria Anna Theresia for 12 years. Today the Haydn Museum is located there. The musical quotation shows the beginning of the piano song "Ein kleines Haus" ("A small house", Hob. XXVIa:45) from 1801.
